Pain Management

For a moving car to stop, it is critical for the driver to lift his foot from the accelerator. For chronic pain to stop, it is just as important to achieve neuromuscular calm. Therapy at The Wellness Station focuses on calming the nervous system through a variety of approaches.

Our highly individualized patient education, physical therapy, group sessions, and fitness classes are grounded in the Feldenkrais Method. Most clients have had traditional therapy before, but still struggle with aches, pains, and diminished freedom of movement. Our testimonials show that Feldenkrais can be effective as a first-line treatment or last resort.

Chronic pain is not a normal part of life, and it can be treated. The Wellness Station caters to patients who have complex musculoskeletal disorders but desire an alternative to opioids and invasive procedures.

Pain-related conditions we treat include:

  • Arthritis
  • Migraines and other headaches
  • Chronic pain, including back pain
  • Spinal stenosis
